Those Who Dance Are Considered Insane by Those Who Can’t Hear the Music

-Nietzsche

Hello! Ahh, spring, I love spring! After a long winter it is nice to finally see the sun, flower, people outside and trees with leaves. Spring 2017 was particularly exciting for me because it was my first trip to Coachella Arts and Music Festival. I try to do at least one big festival a year and 2017 was my Coachella year. Festivals are one of my favorite things. I love to dance! My personal brand of dancing consists of me jumping up and down, clapping my hands and flailing my arms. I’m certain that I look insane but really don’t care because I’m having fun!

My trip to Coachella began in 2016 when a great friend asked me if I was interested in attending the festival. Having never been I jumped on the opportunity! Palm Springs is amazing and I could really use some sunshine after the winter.

We were pretty excited when the lineup was announced. Beyonce was slated to headline on Saturday night but then she got pregnant and had to cancel. Lady Gaga took Beyonce’s place so overall this news made me pretty happy. As it turned out, Lady Gaga was AMAZING. If you haven’t seen her perform, you should because she is incredibly talented and very humble.

Like my other playlist this 2017 Spring playlist is pretty eclectic. Many songs are added just because that is what I’m listening to during the quarter. However, this list is pretty heavily influenced by my time spent at Coachella. You’ll find some Glass Animals, Banks, Royksopp and Crystal Castles. The Roysopp show was incredible- lights, music and dancing. I plan on going to Coachella again.

Now, if the mode so strikes you, check out my Spring 2017 playlist…
